Erec-Ki-Gala: Dance & Installation with LONER and Mani

  • The Bakery Atlanta 825 Warner Street Southwest Atlanta, GA, 30310 United States (map)

Ancient Sumerian mythology meets contemporary dance and electronic music on the main stage at The Bakery in an immersive performance. Erec-Ki-Gala is a performance adapted from an ancient Sumerian myth by local musician and goatman Peter Flamming and visionary Aeron Wyre Attwooll
The performance section of Erec-Ki-Gala is starring the seasoned and talented professor of dance at Spelman College and Brenau University Christen Sewell Weimer, and the multi-talented artist, dancer, and musician Gracie Patchouli Jøo, in addition to Peter and Aeron themselves and others.

In addition to the Erec-Ki-Gala performance, several artists will be displaying their work, and the amazing LONER and Mani will be closing out the night. LONER is an Atl-based magical post-rock ensemble, and Mani is an experimental/indie rock group based in Atlanta and Macon that describes themselves as "Himalayan Salt Rock" in nature. The music score for Erec-Ki-Gala is written and produced by Peter Flamming. His music can be found on soundcloud at https://soundcloud.com/roguejuryand has a very cinematic, dynamic nature.
